HP small business [hp.com] is running a promotion on the LA2405wg 24-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor. [hp.com] The resolution on this monitor is 1920 x 1200. The resolution is different from most 1080 monitors that hit forums frequently. I need the extra vertical pixels for business applications that I run. There is no HDMI port on this monitor either, but that was not a make or break issue for me. If you are looking to get a monitor for watching HD movies, this probably isn't the monitor for you.

The discount is $205 off thru 04/30/12! The starting base price was evidently $389.00; subtract the $205 promo for a price of $184. There is also an offer for free ground shipping as well. I could not get free shipping to work online, but called their sales department and got free shipping without a fight. ( I have attached a screen shot of the free shipping banner in case anyone needs it). After Texas tax, the total for me came to be $199.18.This is one of the cheapest prices I've seen on this monitor.
